Balcony Date night

H E L L O

So I’m back from Barcelona.
A little more tanned and very sad that summer has almost ended.

Just before I left I posted a few pictures on my Snapchat and Instagram of my balcony covered in blankets, pillows and surrounded by fairy lights and candles.

It was HOT in Utrecht that day, and I wanted a cute little date night underneath the stars. I saw the idea floating around on tumblr first, and I wanted to recreate my own version.
I dragged some matrasses out on my balcony and threw all of my blankets and pillows on top to make it extra fluffy and comfortable.
Just so my neighbours wouldn’t be able to take a peek inside, I covered the entire side of the railing with sheets.
My neighbours are all college students and used to loud music, but I don’t need to make eye contact with the girl next door while I’m chilling on a date.
Three is a crowd.

When it got dark outside is when this really got super cozy. I plugged my pc into my tv and turned it so we could watch a movie outside.

The essentials.
Dry and white.

Lit some extra candles around the balcony as well.

Dress is H&M
Kept it very light and breezy.

Magical night.
Amazing idea, would recommend it for sure. Never been more comfortable watching a movie. Ended up sleeping outside as well 🙂

So if you need a date idea, give something like this a shot.
Watching a movie outside while cuddled up under cozy blankets with some popcorn and wine is the best.

Just don’t forget to blow out the candles.
